WRAP-AROUND CHILDCARE

Meals 
In Breakfast Club, children are offered a variety of cereals and toast with butter or jam.  
In After-School Club, the children will receive a light bite. Please see menu below which is on a two-week rotation. The children will also have fruit available on arrival to the after-school session. 

Parents are welcome to send in their own light bite snack; however, this must be nut free and will not alter the cost of the session.  

Activities 
Our sessions are run by experienced classroom support staff who are familiar with the children. The staff know the children well and are therefore able to be led by the children's interests and what they have been learning in class.  

Each session starts with a reading focus before children then have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities set up in the hall.  This might be: dress up, role play, construction, puzzles and games, i-pad activities which support the curriculum, creative play or small world play.

Over the week, there is an adult-led activity which the children can take part in if they wish, this is usually linked to the time of year or any celebrations on the school calendar. 
The children (weather permitting) also have access to our outdoor area and are encouraged to take part in physical activities, such as using the Trim Trail.

Children attending the enrichment clubs will be chaperoned from the club to wrap around care by a member of staff. 

Cancellations and Outstanding Payments 

We do not cancel pre-booked sessions and no refunds can be made for Wrap Around Care bookings, with no exceptions.  

Parents now pay for sessions at the time of booking.  If you would like to use the Childcare voucher system, please arrange this with your provider or employer and contact the school office with the dates you would like to book.  For more information regarding childcare vouchers please email the school office.

Timing and costs of sessions 
Breakfast Club - 7.30am until 8.40am - £5 per session. 

Afterschool Club - 3.15pm until 6pm - £10 per session.   

Payments can only be made using MCAS 
The Breakfast and After School Club accepts employer childcare vouchers.  

 

Extra Curricular Clubs

We offer a number of after-school clubs which run for a term.  All places are booked on a first come first served through our online booking app, My Child at School (MCAS).  Parents are given log on details once children have been admitted to the school.

At the start of each term, we publish a list of the clubs that are running and their associated cost.

Payments are needed in full to confirm a child’s space. We are unable to refund so please ensure you are booking onto the correct club. Once you have successfully made payment your child’s place is secured. You will not receive any further confirmation.

All clubs on offer are decided on a termly basis and vary from term to term.  Some clubs are being run by outside coaches and will need to be paid directly to them.  Details on how to add your child to a club run by outside coaches will be in the newsletter.
